Why are you still on Facebook? Facebook
launches new feature, can add up to 50 people at once
CEO MARK ZUCKERBERG |
Facebook has rolled out its group video
chat messenger room globally to compete with Zoom and other video conferencing
apps such as Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. It has free video call facility
with 50 people without any time limit. Rooms can be created from Messenger or
Facebook itself and are allowed to share the link to invite anyone, even if
that person does not have a Facebook account.
A Messenger official said, "You can
start and share a room on Facebook through news feeds, groups and events, so
you can also close it whenever you want." You can choose who can see your
room and add yourself. You can remove anyone from the room. If you want no one
else to join the room, you can lock the room. Download the latest version of
Facebook and Messenger to create your room.
Facebook users worldwide can avail this
facility. This room can accommodate up to 50 people. A group can have multiple
chat rooms. Rooms that already have 50 people will not be able to add more
people.
