Bajpayee, executive director of media affairs in the railway ministry, said on
Friday that the reservation period (ARP) of 15 pairs of special trains running
from May 12 has been extended for the convenience of passengers. He said that
RAC or waiting tickets will be issued in these trains as per the currently
applicable instructions. 1.These changes
in the rules of special trains It has been decided to increase the Advance
Reservation Period (ARP) for these trains from 7 days to 30 days. 2. Tatkal
booking service has not been started for these trains yet. 3. RAC and
waiting list will also be released in these trains. However, under the new
instructions, passengers of waiting list will not be allowed to board these
trains. 4- The first
chart list will be released four hours before the train opens, while the second
chart list will be released two hours before the journey.
5. Booking of
tickets will be allowed through computerized PRS counters. Along with this,
booking can also be done through online booking by authorized agents of Post
Office, Licensed Passenger Ticket Facilitation Center, IRCTC and Common Service
Center.
Please
tell that these new rules of Railways will be applicable on booking tickets on
24 May. On which the journey can be started from 31 May.
